Peter Iwers

Peter Iwers (born on 15 May 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden) is the current bass player of the Swedish band IN FLAMES. He has played in IN FLAMES along with Daniel Svensson since their 1999 album Colony, replacing Johan Larsson.

His bass playing style has been influenced by Toto bassist Mike Porcaro, as well as Geddy Lee from Rush and John Myung of DREAM THEATER fame

He has two daughters and is expecting another child. He also has an ex-wife. His brother Anders is a bass player too, for TIAMAT.

Other projects

Before he joined IN FLAMES, Iwers played in a band called CHAMELEON. He also played bass on the track "Self Versus Self" by UK/Australian drum and bass band PENDULUM, alongside his bandmates Anders Fridén and Björn Gelotte.
